This exhibit will explore concepts of renewal and revitalization, including cycles of growth and decay, and the rise and fall of places, things, or ideas. Literal, metaphorical, and philosophical interpretations are welcome.
The exhibit will draw inspiration from the cabinets of curiosities of the past, and will be curated for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts' Gallery 51 by museum studies faculty & students in the Arts Management program. Work in all media accepted.
Dates: March 27-April 20, 2008. To Submit: Send a CD* of 3-4 images, an artist resume, and a statement to: Lauren O’Neal, Fine & Performing Arts, MCLA, 375 Church Street, North Adams, MA 01247. Include an SASE if you would like your materials returned. There is no entry fee, but artists will be responsible for shipping. Questions: Lauren.ONeal@mcla.edu.
