I saw this post on a blog I read a lot, The Frisky. I decided I should do it too, because everyone should know what they love about themselves. Well, the author's list was great and I thought coming up with 30 things wouldn't be that hard. But as I got to about #14 I started feeling like I was singing my own praises just a little too much, like, I am so effing awesome I just have to tell you all about it. And I was also running out of things to list.... So here is my own list of 20.
1. I am an extremely loyal person.
2. I am very intuitive - the ability to read into people/situations has helped me too many times to count.
3. I’ll try almost anything once (if not twice, just to be sure).
4. I am a very hard worker.
5. My love for animals and the fact that they love me right back.
6. My empathy and compassion for others.
7. I have learned to think for myself and I do not allow others to influence me.
8. The fact that people know that they can count on me.
9. My hair (esp. with the current blue in it!)
10. I am extremely adventurous.
11. My handwriting.
12. That I can keep myself company and have learned how to be my own friend.
13. I love to learn, and I don't need to be in school to keep doing it.
14. The little things really do make me happy.
15. I know my ancestry.
16. I was able to travel around in Europe not because I was lucky, but because I really worked hard for it.
17. My artistic abilities.
18. My skin.
19. My eyes, and eyelashes.
20. The fact that people come to me for advice, esp. about makeup or style.
What do you love about yourself??

Just wanted you to know that I still check in and read your blog every once in a while. Glad to see that things are going well.
Love ya,
Natalie
P.S. I love the new family search website (that's what you use, right?) and have been doing some genealogy stuff too. It's kind of addicting. :)
thanks Natalie! I read your blog too! yes I love doing family history, you get such an amazing feeling :) I do use the new family search site and also ancestry.com - which has been really amazing for finding things. if you're interested you should check out my other blog, I'm becoming quite knowledgeable about digging around in the past!
